Office Administrative Assistant/Receptionist - DC Metro at Berkadia Main Careers Site

The Receptionist will provide general front office administrative support for the local office.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • General receptionist duties, including answering phones, greeting visitors, and accepting packages and deliveries;

  • Additional administrative duties could include: Office Supply Ordering, maintain office copier, troubleshoot paper jams, and order toner and supplies as needed;

  • Maintain small office kitchen and stock bottled water;

  • Retrieve office mail

  • Order and keep an inventory of parking coupons

  • Serve as the Office Building Communications Liaison – maintenance, etc.; serve as interim Floor Warden;

  • Other general administrative duties and responsibilities as required by business.

 

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE / MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma, GED/equivalent certification or equivalent military experience; Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred;

  • Minimum of one (1) year of professional experience, preferably in an administrative capacity;

  • Excellent computer skills, including mastery of Word, Excel and Outlook;

  • Ability to provide a warm and welcoming environment for office visitors;

  • Ability to work with tight deadlines in a team environment;

  • Ability to multi-task and stay organized;

  • Possess a strong attention to detail;

  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
