Position Summary

Reserve Administrators play a critical role at Berkadia by processing tasks associated with the disbursing and monitoring of Reserve Escrows. The Reserve Administrator ensures disbursements are made subject to loan criteria, sound asset management processes, investor requirements and Pooling and Servicing agreement criteria.



Essential Duties (Primary Responsibilities) include the following.

  • Process tasks associated with the disbursing and monitoring of Reserve Escrows such as reviewing invoices and other supporting documentation, completing e-forms, and initiating transactions.

  • Works with the Client Relations Managers to help them understand the requirements for releasing Reserve funds to the borrower

  • Letter processing for daily disbursements, follow up on completion repair reserves, and monthly deposit changes

  • Follows guidelines for accepting, tracking and monitoring renewals of Letters of Credit


  •  Associate's Degree preferred;

  • 1 - 2 years of professional experience; exposure to Commercial Real Estate preferred;

  • Knowledge of cash flow and cost report analysis;

  • Experience with MS Office, especially Excel;

  • Ability to interface with team members and customers;

  • Solid communication skills, both written and verbal;

  • Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to a rapidly changing environment
